Inner Sanctum
A downloadable game
This game REQUIRES two players.
Two warriors, their swords glistening under the incandescence of the Sun, locked in eternal struggle.
Two lovers who met in the Garden long before the time itself, destined to fall in love and betray each other.
Two souls in the same body, singing in discordant unison of cosmic nu-jazz symphony, beyond rhythm, beyond structure.
How to play
There are two distinct phases: Storytelling phase and Combat phase. Half of the game is played in your imagination, and, as far as I'm concerned, this is a tabletop RPG. Well, it just happens to use a very specific virtual table, huh.
Setup
Choose your Spirit: Steel -or- Blood -or- Sun. Each represents various feelings, forces, cosmic laws that shape the world.
Storytelling phase
Player 1 starts describing a scene, weaving a tense situation based on the prompt. Both players can add details, describe characters' thoughts, actions, roleplay, pushing the scene towards the boiling point.
The moment they disagree and neither is willing to back down, Combat phase starts.
The winner describes how the scene ends, and then you get the next prompt, the loser describes a new situation, and Storytelling phase begins anew.
Combat phase
